The Women’s Ministry team seeks to promote relationships between women of the Christian Church of Estes Park. We encourage women to grow spiritually and personally, to reach out to women who do not have a relationship with the Lord, to love one another and to contribute to the work of the church in order to glorify God.

The following information addresses various groups and activities that are currently in progress. New activities are being scheduled and information will be updated as plans are finalized. We hope you will find these beneficial. A calendar of events will be posted in the church foyer as well.
A Women's Bible study meets Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m., through April 27, 2004. Videos and CD’s distributed by “Extraordinary Women” are currently being shown, with discussion and Q & A following. A summer study is currently being discussed and the results of the Women’s Survey will determine the best days and times to offer it.
The women’s prayer support (prayer chain) offers an opportunity to share urgent and special prayer requests for others in need. Intercessory prayer is our loving privilege of standing together with Christ, our Divine Intercessor, for the needs of others.
(Put in the information you received from Mary Miller. I will forward you pictures from a quilting session to enter here.)
The third Saturday of every month, various women gather at the church for a day of crafts and fellowship. It doesn’t matter what kind of craft you do; scrapbooking, needle work, making cards, crocheting. If you just want to come and partake of the good fellowship and the goodies everyone brings for snacks and lunch, that’s okay too. Sometimes we help the Sisters of Faith work on their projects for Missions. Whatever the needs are, we meet them.
Once a month we will be meeting for dinner out at a local restaurant or at someone’s house for potluck and a gab session. Would pizza and watching a movie more suit your fancy? Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details.
In the bulletin over the next few weeks there will be a survey enclosed that addresses the areas of our Women’s Ministry. It is designed to determine the needs and wants of our women. Please feel free to fill it out and return it so we can know your feelings and desires.
During the summer months of June, July and August, women are invited to join a group hike. One Monday of each month, a fairly easy hike will be chosen and women will meet to carpool to the trailhead. Bring water and snacks or a sack lunch along and join us. Times and locations for carpooling will be announced in the newsletter and the bulletin prior to the hike date.
Current hikes scheduled are:
