Crossroads Ministry is an emergency service organization that provides short-term assistance to clientale in the Estes Valley. Its mission is to exhibit the love of God through caring concern of neighbor and community by ministering to the basic human needs of low income and working poor individuals and families.
Crossroads Ministry is a non-profit ecumenical Chrisian outreach ministry which provides help and understanding through sharing and following the Second Great Commandment, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Organized in 1982 by St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Crossroads now has the support of the Interfaith Council and the Evangelical Ministers' Alliance.
Nonjudgemental love and care in the form of temporary emergency help is offered through food distribution, medical services, rent and utility assistance, and referrals. Crossroads also promotes self-sufficiency to clients who need continuing assistance. Free courses are currently offered in financial planning and basic computer knowledge with more courses being scheduled for the future.
Crossroads is not only supported by 15 churches in the area, but many of the local businesses generously donate goods and money. The Town of Estes Park and Larimer County have also proveded substantial support to this benevolent community endeavor.
In order for Crossroads to continue to serve our community with God's love it needs CCEP's support. If you have any questions about how best you can help through prayer, volunteering, donations, financial support, etc, please contact Harry Graham, Carolyn Evans or the church office.
