Real, Relational, and Relevant; These words describe our church body, and describe what we hope always comes from our experience in worship together.
Worship is the most important part of our corporate experience, whether it is through the songs we sing, the sharing of God's word, prayer, or the many other things we do when we meet together. Worship in its simplest form is our saying to God, "You are God, and we are not!" We try to do that in as authentic way as possible.
We strive to make our worship real, natural, and not ever forced or manipulative. We invite you to participate and not observe. It will never be a "showy" production, but honest, informal and genuine.
We understand that God doesn't have a prescribed or favorite style of music. We do however feel it is very important for our worship style to be relevant to the world in which we live. The style of music we choose is contemporary, and may sound much like what is heard on popular radio, but the message of course is God's. Many of our songs are simply God's word put to music.
We also want our time together to be relational. We want to allow for times of sharing on occasion, as well as times of encouragement and fellowship. Our time together brings us closer as a body of believers, and as a community committed to making a difference in our world.
